The tragic past still haunts you at night, turning your dreams into nightmares, playing the dreadful memories over and over again. You can’t seem to get rid of the voice saying, “We need to leave, Now!”. It keeps you up at night. It makes you regret your decision to stay behind when everyone was fleeing Phlan.
Days become harder to go by without food and water; the only way of survival left was to beg for it. But as days went by, you started selling out information to parties who were interested in exchange for the basic needs of life. Finally, you became good with time and felt confident in your methods. But the good days didn’t last long as your deeds were out in the open, and the soldiers of the dragon captured you for selling information to people against the dragon.
They threw you away into the Stojanow prison to rot, and what seemed like the worst life before suddenly became a dream life as you were being tortured for what seemed like an eternity.
What is a Stojanow Prisoner in DND?
You lived a normal life before Phlan was attacked, but the worst part is that you decided to stay back when everyone was running away from Phlan. Either you had an emotional attachment with the land or wanted to become rich off the gold people left behind.
But it didn’t turn out as you expected. Instead, life became a living hell. With no other way left for you to go, begging was the only thing you could do to survive the growing hunger and thirst. The scarcity of basic needs pushed you to become a spy and gather information to sell to interested parties to survive.
You became too invested that you didn’t realize the soldiers were onto you, and now that they have put you away, all you can think of is to die.
